Weekend Finds

Hope your all having a wonderful weekend. I wanted to thankyou all for your lovely comments on my new kitchen benchtops I got so many lovely comments and appreciate and read every one of them so THANKYOU.
I even had a few locals wanting the companies phone number which I am happy to pass on.
Check out my latest finds. I love mirrors and would never let a beauty pass me by especially when its old and ornate as this one.
My villa masison look alike nautical lamp.
This coffee table is one that I finished yesterday. Ideal for storing toys, magazines or whatever as the lid lifts up which is fantastic and useful.

Hi sandy, i love the mirror, i just posted about gold frames and mirrors and such today… lovely work! I really love your benchtops too, i would love to know the name of the company to see if they have offices in perth… If you dont mind sharing. Also, i did wonder, your kitchen cabinets that you have painted, how do they hold up? Does the paint scratch off or flake and I wondered if it is very waterproof? your kitchen looks amazing; such a HUGE transformation from the beginning! You are too clever!!

I love your blog. It's inspired me to do some furniture painting myself.

I just found a pine writing desk and stained it blue last night.

    Pics are on my blog.

This look with the white buffet and gold mirror is so simple yet elegant and stunning. Did you use a flat bright white? Looks great…I wish I could use bright white on the wall but I live in MI, where it's cold almost all year….it'd be chilly…not like Australia!, lucky you, I love this look.

LOVE it ALL! Could you tell me how you did the top of the coffee table to bring it back to life. It REALLY stands out on that piece and I love it! I have a chest I want to bring back to life but nothing looks as good as your table top.
