Bench Seat

The weather is so hot here today that I have snuck inside to cool down in the airconditioning. I wanted to show you this awesome bench seat I have just finished. Not only does the cross back timber look stylish but the piece is also very functional.
Storage and plenty of it. Would be handy to have this piece at your Entry or in your hallway. Hide away all those shoes, boots and even big enough for hats, skateboards or magazines.
This mirror is my favorite find of the week, I just love it.

I must say I love that mirror too. Cool down in the air conditioning? Hard for me to imagine–my car door is frozen shut:( Enjoy! 🙂

Love it! I had something similar to that but unfortunately I sold it – regret it now. I'm a fellow Aussie blogger and have been following you for a while now, you have gorgeous things. I'd love it if you'd pop my blog to say hello. Megs 🙂

hi Sandy, love your new blog header (and the bench seat!) it was hot here today also but windy now. I'm helping a friend paint her dining table tomorrow which will be fun (while the kids swim in her pool!).
    cheers Fiona

I love the bench and like you said it has so many uses when placed in the lobby/hallway of the home.

The bench is a classic style that will work in so many rooms – indoors or outdoors. If I may be so bold to make a suggestion – when you open the bench seat a wonderful surprise of a vivid colour would be great fun. Tiffany blue, creamy tangerine, or a wash of hydrangea shades.

Your new blog header is a striking combination!

Hi there, I just stumbled along your blog on my tireless hunt for this exact timber bench seat. I've been searching for one like this for over two years without any success, could you please share where you bought this one or if you know of anywhere that sells them? I was about to give up!
