Meat Safe Delight

Today I’m showing off my new find. This original old meat safe was in quite a state when I picked her out of the crowd.  Dirty, dusty and full of mouse poo it has come along way with a good clean and wax.

I just added some crystal knobs to dress it up and I think it looks perfect just how it is.

This gorgeous grey ceramic planter was just the right piece to place on top.

I’m struggling at the moment.
Struggling to what pieces to let go and which ones get to stay.

Maybe a bigger house?
Have a great weekend.

Totally reminds me of a meat safe I saw at a flea market, looked like they dug it up from a grave. The best part was the fabulous Mouse Hole in the door. I loved it, my father was less then impressed. He couldn't believe anyone would buy anything with a mouse hole.

That is a great piece. Why don't you leave it where it is and enjoy it until you find something else to put in that room. Then move it to your space at the store. I do that all the time. I love rotating furniture from my home to my rented space at the Antique Mall.
