I love getting out and about on a Friday and not only did I visit a fantastic new store in Brisbane (share that one soon) but I got to pick up some lovely finds along the way.
This cute table with turned legs is made of cedar and I love how the original paint work of yellow and green is peeping through. Someone has gone to the troube of sanding it but never quite got the legs all done.
The lamp was a market find today and the shade is made from a light brown velvet – quite cute just how it is.

Love the table, my desk is like that with only half the paint stripped off. Can't possibly imagine why someone would not finish!!!!!!! I would never do a thing like that!
