Paper Wreath

The trolley and fan were some market finds recently.

I have seen lots of these paper wreaths in blogland but was most inspired by Marian over at missmustardseed.blogspot.com. So with the help of my daughter we wipped one up. Actually we couldn’t stop at one and made quite a few.
Sheet music seems to be the go but if you can’t get your hands on some I find an old book just as good. Discoloured pages make the wreath look even better.

What a fantastic job!! I've been admiring Miss Mustard Seed's for a while know, but haven't attempted it yet (although I have been stockpiling old sheet music!). Yours looks fantastic, Sandy, well done! Love the fan too.

I have already started to make one but couldn't find any instructions on the link. Do you roll them all the same size and glue or staple them to a round backing. I'll have a break and see if I can work it out. I am using pages from an old photographic mag I acquired somewhere and it should look OK if only I can get it together neatly:)

The wreath looks fantastic. I LOVE those paper wreaths working on a couple of my own but I'm folding the paper differently. The great thing about design is everybody gets to put their own stamp on an idea.By the way that fan is pretty great too.

Well I got it together with the help of a glue-gun (ouch, a couple of bad blisters to show for it!)and I will post it on my blog later today. Not as neat as yours Sandy but OK for a first try. Maybe the magazine paper isn't quite firm enough. Hope you will come over and check it out this evening! I added my own design in the centre which I am quite pleased with.
