Thought I would show you all a lamp base & shade that I have just finished doing while we are away. I painted the base white and made a lovely linen shade for it. I have given it to my mum to put in her white beach house.

I never cease to be amazed at the transformations made with a coat of white paint. Things go from tacky and gaudy to oh so elegant and beautiful. I love your lamp and enjoy the inspiration I consistently get from your blog.
