Holiday Lamp Makeover

Thought I would show you all a lamp base & shade that I have just finished doing while we are away.  I painted the base white and made a lovely linen shade for it. I have given it to my mum to put in her white beach house.

Hi Sandy, Ive just been catching up on your blog. The green beach chairs are gorgeous, love the shade of green and have come up beautiful. Some great finds while you were away. The peanut is a great and quirky find! Nice to get away and spend time with family. The lamp is beautiful, as usual you've done a fabulous job.
    Have a great week.

I never cease to be amazed at the transformations made with a coat of white paint. Things go from tacky and gaudy to oh so elegant and beautiful. I love your lamp and enjoy the inspiration I consistently get from your blog.
