Other Tv Room

Hi girls, firstly I just want to thankyou all for stopping by each day. Your comments are always so beautiful and I cannot believe how each day there seem to be more and more blogs popping up. I am really enjoying blogland and all the inspiration that each of you inject into my life – so thankyou.

This is the room at the back of the house. It was suppose to be the kids TV room but that just hasn’t happened as the kids seem to love the big plasma in the lounge room. So this room seems to get enjoyed by my huband and myself. Call it what you like but for now its my sitting room I guess. It has a second TV and the decor changes in here constantly. Today I have my lovely french couch and my large armoire in here as that seems to be the only place it will fit. My Chandeliers are yet to be installed and thats why they seem to be lying around everywhere. Still undecided on blinds for in here and each time I put a rug down I pull it back up. Oh the joys of fluffing around with furniture.

Sandy – I so look forward to your posts as I adore your home! It looks like a top of the line boutique hotel – how lucky your children are to have such a beautiful room (well you & your hubby I guess!!). Loving your armoire and french couch, oh and also the blue and white china display next to your lovely lamp in the corner! Your post has inpired me to recover yet another vintage lampshade in white linen for my bedroom! Thank you for sharing more of your beautiful home Sandy. Hope you have a lovely day – Tina x

Sandy, you've done so well to get your house all set up. I'd still be surrounded by boxes!
Let me know if you find a reliable, reasonably priced electrician for those chandeliers:o)

I love love love your blog, watch it all the time, all the way from the Napa Valley in California. I have to ask, where did you get the chair cushions you have listed in a picture of a dining table at the bottom of this page. They have a ruffle around them, did you buy them online??? I love them!

Checking on the cushions that Lisa mentioned I realise that I have half your photos in my inspiration file! We very obviously love the same things. Our daughter has a french lounge carcass hiding in our garage for when she returns from the UK I think I might get it out and paint it for her. Loved the visit

    Hey there Sandy,
I so get what you are saying about blogland, I am feeling really disconected from everyone at the moment because of the limited internet acess time we have at the moment…I am counting down the days till I'm reconneced again!!!
I love your tv area, what a gorgeous place to sit & relax at the end of the day.
My fave piece is that gorgeous mirror!

HI Sandy, Love, love, love your armoire and lounge. I am on the look out for both! Your house is coming along just beautifully! Re your blinds, I have 50mm slat venetions that I do love the look of( I think you have them too) but are such a pain to clean, i really wish now I'd listened to my hubby and got the roller blinds. They would have let more light in and and been a breeze to clean. Oh well! take care, Maryann
