French Provincial Bookcase

What attracted me to this bookcase was its versatility. It already had some beading fitted which meant you could use it for displaying not only books but plates as well.

I have painted the whole bookcase white of course and then did the back panels in my french grey.
Bookcase SOLD yesterday.

Set of Paris stools – SOLD

Lovely wicker basket with a blue and white stripe ticking padded seat.
Available at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre.

I will show you some more pieces I have available later today.

I have five bookcases very like that one and after seeing this I decided they would also look nice with the insides painted a pale blue(for me!) I raced out to start getting them ready and then I saw the books! They are so packed in you wouldn't ever see the insides so now they will just have to stay white!!!!!
Will visit you soon and see what I might bring back home!

Just found your blog… I love the gray you are using…I am looking for inspiration for my little cottage and you have sooo inspired me. I am wanting to do my brown furnishings in a driftwood sort of color. I love how yours have turned out. What a beautiful space. Warm Regards Chrisy

Hi Sandy…I'm a new US (west coast) follower. I love your blog. Not sure I could get it here but wondered what paint you use for your french gray. Loved the bookcase the way you painted it. Chris
