I started off like many of you with lots of heavey dark wooden furniture. Instead of replacing my pieces I learnt to paint them and save myself some money. Twelve years later I have not looked back. There was a time that I thought I would get sick of white furniture but to be honest I love it more now than I ever have. White furniture is crisp, clean and easy to decorate with.
