2019 has started with some major changes to the paint line I now carry. Time to give you some facts!!! for those that have been left wondering.
For the past six years the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint you have been receiving here in Australia was manufactured in the USA by the Davis Paint Company. We loved the paint and it’s ease of use. However December 2018-January 2019 the Distribution was changed and Annie started sending us her paint that was manufactured in the UK. Me along with many others from around the world found the paint different. It was extremely thick and very unsuited to our climate here. The tins had also changed and were not the standard we were accustomed too. My business is all about providing an outstanding product and service, a product that anyone can use. This no longer was the case for me and my customers therefore decisions had to be made. Lisa Rickert is the founder of Jolie Premier Paints. I have worked with Lisa for the past six years as our Distributor of Chalk Paint. Lisa is now working with the Davis Paint Company in the USA to provide us with the paint we have always loved. Jolie paints are superior with a colour range softer and more suited to my customers needs. I have always maintained I would only ever sell the best and Jolie is just that.
