Duck Egg Blue Sideboard

I have just finished this lovely sideboard which I have painted in a lovely duck egg blue.
Beautiful bevelled mirror on the top with lovely detail in the timber.
The sideboard was full of surprises because I didn't even realize until I started to paint it that the bottom section was actually a drawer. I haven't put handles on it yet and think it blends in nicely without them.
Inside the sideboard is shelving and this very cool little drawer.

My new chair I picked up today from Ange, she has done a lovely job with the  upholstery and this chair is definitely a keeper.  So pleased I didn't paint it.

It's all so beautiful, as usual Sandy. I've been meaning to write to find out how your August meeting went, but have been without a computer for a while. I'd love to hear whether they're been any new developments on that front. Very best wishes to you Sandy xxx

Sandy, it's been awhile since my last visit, and I can see beauty is still surrounding you. Love your new header, and I agree with the chair, it's better left in its beauty of its honey toned wood and the blue stripes are divinely cottage.

Love all the beauty you paint over here, now I am going back to see all that I have missed out on.
