Beachy Blue Nightstand & New Stock

Funny how we all can’t wait to get our new finds home and give them a new look. Lately I have been leaving my pieces with natural timber tops. I think it gives the piece a sense of warmth and makes a nice contrast with the paint colors chosen.
I did start out painting the top of this piece but was interested to see what was underneath all the dark brown stain, so off it all came.
Painted blue with white inside, a nice tall nightstand perfect for beside the bed.

The old cinema sign was a recent find, the owner said she had carried it around for 30 years, wonder If I will do the same.
