Farm House Table

Not everyone has room for a large dining table in their home so I thought this cute four seater was perfect for my shop space.  Everytime I place a dining table in the space its gone within a week and then the hunt is on to find another one. The table has large wide timber panels on top so all it needed was the legs and the base to be painted white. I only gave it a light coat of paint as I wanted it rustic and to resemble and old farm house style table.

The table only is now available at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre.

Turquoise Lovers

I love mixing the white furniture up with bright painted children's pieces. This picnic style table is just perfect for a beach style setting. The turquoise is stunning and fresh and makes me want to paint more in this shade of colour.

Before

My shop space has been filled with some lovely pieces today all ready for the weekend.

Side Table

This side table was another piece that got painted on the weekend. I liked the piece because it is nice and solid and has great chunky turned legs.

Today is the last day of the Easter break so I am preparing garden beds for planting more roses. I hope you all enjoyed your break what ever it is you have been doing.

Pink Please

Today there has been no stopping me and the paint brush is working overtime.  I am feeling inspired by the beautiful weather and the gorgeous roses that are flowering in the garden so this is the reason I decided to paint this hall table a  gorgeous shade of pale pink.

This tea set is just stunning I could not pass this up on my thrifting travels.

Old Box & Some Roses

The Easter break has turned on some gorgeous weather so while the kids were out in the boat fishing today I made the most of some thrifting around the Sunshine Coast.

This old box was the perfect find for storing your bits & pieces, I threw in some flowering impatients for now but can just see it filled with magazines or whatever takes your fancy.

Roses are plenty from a nearby neighbour who has around 80 rose bushes in his garden.

Heading back home tomorrow after a week away I feel rested and recharged. Can't wait to get back into some painting and I feel the need to re-arrange a room. Think my bedroom could be in for a change. 

Easter Break

We are currently having a lovely time away on our Easter break. Pleased to report that I have some great finds to show when I get home and my back is feeling heaps better.
