I have been totally inspired by Atlanta Bartlett recently and when I was ready to make over this wardrobe yesterday I knew I wanted it rustic and to resemble an old farmhouse piece. The timber was already distressed it was just a matter of bringing all that character through once painted.
The cute timber Rosewood clock was made over also with a french grey paint, cleaned up and a battery added and wella it goes.
My french chair that Ange covered for me recently.
I love adding my signature numbers on large pieces and believe it finishes the wardrobe off beautifully.
Plenty of hanging and cupboard space inside. Going to be hard to part with this piece.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.

I wish I could see the pieces in person.. I've been painting all my furniture white but I think white is a bit too bright.. your furniture looks on the grey side.. can you share the colors and makes of the paint you buy? Thanks so much in advance... I need help with colors..
Sandy

Sandy that is stunning, and love the chair Ange did for you! God I am missing painting stuff...I have all the op shop and clearance centre locations checked out down here in Port! We are back here now trying our hardest to find a rental, have a viewing in an hour and trying to arrange a few others too. wish me luck!

wow Sandy -can't believe you dragged it up to the house for the photos but thanks for sharing. love it. you're going to have to start taking your photos at your booth instead of the house - that might save some time and effort?
love the chair also.
cheers fiona
You have worked wonders with the nice but fairly ordinary cupboard, it looks fabulous with your paint and aging technique, a real eye-catcher.
The wardrobe and chair are simply stunning; you are a real Artist. I bought the Country Collections today and loved the pages about you and your work. Your home is very beautiful.
Lovely! Love how a fresh coat of white can make something so fresh and bright!
