Windmill find & some of my favourite things.

Well I come across lots of lovely pieces in my travels but I must say that I never expected a windmill to be on my list of finds. As soon as I saw it I knew it was coming home with me.

It stands around 10 feet high and don’t worry I have thought about putting it inside.

Rusty and full of character this is one piece that ages perfectly left out in the weather.
Roses from the front garden today.

Freshly laundered slipcovers.

Tonight for dessert we cooked Donna Hay’s “Cheat’s Chocolate Fondant”
Lets just say they were so rich you only needed to eat half of one. That means I get to eat the other half tomorrow.

Enjoy your weekend – I know I am.

Lucky you! I have long admired these smaller versions on farms we visit. I would love to find one for our suburban backyard!

I have a windmill in my house. It was ten feet tall, and I cut it down and put it on top of some lockers in my family room. I love them there~I say go for it!
