Completed Dresser

Here are a few of my finds from the last couple of weeks. The first one is this old milk pail. Now I did walk straight past it but my sister told me I just had to get it, and she was right doesn’t it look great filled with hydranges.
This dresser was crying out to be painted white.

The dresser is just dreamy. I love the metal pail for your flowers. I never know when to stop painting things white…take for instance your mirror atop the dresser. It looks fabulous just like that. I would have probably painted it white and I see how wonderfully it goes with the lamp shade. How does one know when to stop…lol!

I love this look! The gold mirror with the white…..and silver….I still have some fun gold mirrors and candelabras (Syroco) and always debate on painting them or not. But you've reinspired me to keep 'em gold!!
    Have a happy weekend!

    hi sandy,
I love reading your blog. Thought you might be interested in a paint I saw on miss mustard seed blog. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. It sounds wonderful (please check it out) but there are no suppliers in Australia. you'd be a great supplier! just a thought. I'd buy some.
    keep up the wonderful work.
