Usually when I pick up a piece of furniture and they are already white I am releaved as sometimes if saves me time painting them. However with this lovely set of drawers all I could see was French Grey.
Love the way they have turned out and I even kept the original hardware.
The gorgeous tall lamp base was a find from a few weeks ago that I finally got around to painting as well.

Looks much better grey – gives it a more appropriate (I think) semi- 'industrial' look.
I think its the contrast between the very horizontal and shaped look to the top vs the Queen Anne legs!

I've been looking at an old rocking chair and rustic outdoor setting that I managed to find a few weeks back and for the life of me, can't decide what to do with them?
