I set up an afternoon tea setting on the weekend and made good use of my vintage china. Love mismatched table ware, crystal champagne glasses and of course lots of vintage lace.

Hi Sandy, I just recently found your blog and I love it although my partner would kill me if I made our new house as 'beautiful' as yours. We have some timber furniture we want to paint and have already done a table. We used gloss enamel and had to do quite a few coats. What do you use and recommend and should we not do it in the humidity as I think gloss takes a while to dry? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
