Favourite White Things Around My Home

Today I have photographed some of my favourite white things I have around my home. My white ironstone jug – love it use it for flowers, sauces and my roses always look lovely in it.
This lovely white iron chair – an op shop find and a chair that just looks gorgeous no matter where I put it.
My welcome bell outside the front door – this bell was here when we bought the house – one of the few things I didn’t have to change.

My collection of vintage Marcella quilts and table cloths. I use these all the time on the bed on the table or as a throw on the couch.  I have been known to cut up some damaged ones and make lamp shades but I never tire of these beautiful linens.

I hope you all have something vintage your going to use this Christmas. Don’t keep it in the cupboard for a rainy day use it – it was meant to be enjoyed.

Hey Sandy, That bell must have been such a good omen when you first viewed the house! It is just so perfect! I have a couple of those chairs at the moment and I actually said to Kristen…what they need is someone like Sandy to paint them (they are gold…YUK)…and then here is your post…very funny how that happens, cheers Katherine

Love the photos, I second Shabby Junk, that chair is awesome! Did you paint your floors white or have them installed? If painted, how do they hold up so well?!
