Christmas Preparations.

This has been a really productive week. My two kids have been up north at my parents place so I have been making the most of my time. My white concrete floors have been given two fresh new coats of paint. It was this time last year that I painted them and I have been dragging furniture across them ever since. They now look so fresh and beautiful just in time for Christmas. How good is it that you can just fresh’n them up with some paint, a bit like getting your carpets cleaned once a year I guess.
I have washed all the slipcovers and even had some new onces made. I have painted some more pieces and even done a few things for myself.

Hi Sandy, I'm so envious … time alone during the holidays! Your floors look great. I've been slowly washing slipcovers and cushion covers also. It's not easy getting everything dry with all this rain, is it?

I do love your white painted floors. I remember you doing them as a stop gap but I rather imagine if they are that easy to keep looking good why would you ever change them!
