An Emotional Week

I want to dedicate this post to my husband Tim. Usually its always about the furniture but today I want to say that this week I almost lost my husband to a terrible workplace accident. Tim works as a Green keeper and somehow ended up face down in a dam with an Industrial mower on his back. I thank god his workmates saw the accident and after a couple of minutes dragged Tim out of the water. After a couple of days in intensive care I now have my husband home. What a week - the thought of losing your husband is something that I will never forget. We have been married 16 years and not only is he my husband but my best friend as well Cornie but true.  So this week I have learnt that life is all about living - what a gift. Hope your all having a great weekend. I will be back with some furniture makeovers soon.

We are so blessed for the men God puts in our lives and the thought of losing my husband has crossed my mind before as he works in an oil refinery. I hate going there, but it does make me sure to say "I love you" before he steps out that door every day.
So glad your hubby is resting at home now.
Blessings to you this weekend.

I'm so glad he is ok!! I almost lost my husband a couple of years ago, he had a heartattack at the age of 39, so I know how scary it can be. This is the 3rd time within the last couple of weeks I have heard of this happening in our area, two landscapers have fallen into the canals while on lawn mowers but unfortunatly they did not make it.

Sandy, Sometimes it takes something like this to really alter our life and make us see what it is worth...that we can survive without all of our "things" and could part with them....but could not imagine parting with someone we love.

I believe that God was watching out for this man...and that co-worker was his angel on earth. It's amazing how each of us play such vital parts in each other's lives.

Blessings to you, my dear...and although I love to see pictures of your furniture...I am much happier to see pictures of your greatest treasure! Hugs- Diana
