Bedroom Parlour Chair

This is what you can do with a $8 thrift store find, a made in Italy bedspread that was given to me and a fantastic Upholsterer.
If anyone lives near the Gold Coast and is looking for a good Upholsterer I can highly recommend Ange from Chair-upblogspot.com.
Ange is one very talented lady who works from home. If your in the market to have some chairs or lounge suits made over I suggest you contact Ange.
I think the chair might need some castor’s to complete the look.

I cannot believe how comfortable this little beauty is. I have enough fabric left over to make a matching lamp shade.
Before (gee what a shocker)

    Hi Sandy,
You really had to have some forsight to see a beauty in that yellow-ish chair. It is a true beauty now, what a great idea, covering it with a bedspread. I would love that one in my bedroom.

I like this and the fabric is just right for it. My Mother called these bedroom chairs and they were just right height for my Father to sit on to put his shoes on! Theirs was blue velvet!
