Pedestal Dining Table

I am known to change my dining tables quite regulary and who wouldn't when you find such lovely pieces on your travels.
I love pedestal dining tables they have such a formal look and not only look amazing under a huge chandelier in a dining room but also in an entry way in a large home.
The timber on this piece was in such nice condition that I didn't have the heart to paint it. Yes thats right some things are not meant to be white all over. Just gave it a coat of danish oil and painted the pedastool and all done.

Sandy that is such a lovely piece. What a shame it's not an extension table as well. Love the way you left the top.

Sandy, so glad you left the top and I agree with you not all pieces are meant to be painted white! Did you get the Jarrah wardrobe painted yet and have I missed it?

Would look lovely with a touch of linen, like a crisp white centre doiley on the top, I like the contrast of the timber and the paint, cheers katherine
