French Grey Love

Lately my favourite colour choice has been this lovely french grey. Funny thing is I have painted many pieces in this colour but have not kept any pieces for myself. I think this may have to change this weekend now that I am home after our wonderful Easter break this colour is going to get a thrashing. It goes with the crisp white just perfect and is such a soft and gentle colour – are you like me and just loving this french grey. Do you have any pieces around your home in this colour?.

I have been doing the op shops around Bundaberg these last few days and with around 13 op shops in total my finds were very minimal. However I did manage a few nice things which I will photograph today for you all.

I am looking for a chair EXACTLY like that one Sandy! (second image) Do you know where it's from?
I didn't know you were in Bundaberg? My sister and brotherinlaw used to live at Coral Cove, my niece was born in Bundy and my sister still works for the private hospital remotely from Brisbane.

I am a grey nut! Our new kitchen is grey, the bathroom walls are grey and last year we painted the whole house grey with white trims…I love grey!

    Best wishes and happy weekend,

I LOVE that grey Sandy (not to mention the Darcy chair!!!) I tried to paint my bedroom chair that shade of grey but it turned out a very blue grey. Would you mind sharing the colour that you use, I would be very grateful!! Hope you find something to paint French Grey (OK that was a silly statement as you are the Queen of finding gorgeous treasures). Enjoy your weekend and happy painting ~ Tina x

I happen to land on your lovely blog looking for inspirations and did I find it! I think we share in style and things we love. I've also learned to paint furniture when I had a small shop (but got too busy with day job & family). I hope to do more furniture painting in the future.I've added your blog to my list of favorites. Love your home!

I've been in love with this french grey since September. I've posted that writers desk(I believe it is from R.A. Shabby Chic?)on my blog…love it! I've added the grey mostly to my wardrobe and home accessories. I wanted to paint my daughters vintage dresser in it, but she wanted black..which looks nice with her Ikea black iron bed. I will look forward to seeing what you do with the color.

Can you give me the paint color. I have been struggling to get the right look of grey. What did you use or what is it close to. I live in Utah, USA. I love the grey chest of drawers. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

I found this post because I did a search for 'french grey'. I am starting the redecoration of my home, and am wanting to do a mixture of cream and caramel, french grey and black. I am hoping it turns out. Thanks for this post. It is definitely confirming for me that I am going in the right direction.

I'm loving the beautiful french grey as well as the lovely desk and chair! I haven't used it before, mostly re-do my furnishings in white or black. I'll be trying the grey soon. Thanks for all your great inspiration. I'm so new to blogging that I have a long way to go before I figure it out!
