Just Add Chandeliers & Pom Poms

My daughter and I were dying to make these pom poms that have been turning up in blogland. We were inspired by Maria at Dreamwhites- here and Rie at homeandharmony here they are so easy to make and so effective. Once we started making them we could not stop.

Finally got my brother in law to install two chandeliers today. Would have loved a few more up but it was so hot in the roof he could not wait to get out. Don’t they look all sparkling up there.

Danneke would love some of those pom poms in her room. I'll have to get instructions from you Sandy. They look so pretty as do your chandeliers. I can understand why your BIL wanted to get out of the roof space though, it's been so humid lately!
    Have a great week.

I made them a year or so back for an event and it was so much fun. I think the idea came from Martha Stewart originally. http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/portal/site/ww/menuitem.d9cc37f780ffa93df8aeef105173a0a0/?vgnextoid=efb9608f8532f010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&vgnextfmt=default&backto=true

Im going to make them for my daughters First Communion at the end of May. So sweet and girly!

Love your posts and crafts. So fun and inspirational.

Looks fab! I'm planning on making the pom poms with my daughter for her room – been thinking for a while but slow to action. How many pieces of paper did you use to create yours?

Adds so much sparkle and charm! The only chandie I have is from IKEA. But I love it! Is your sofa from IKEA? Your cottage is so rosy sweet.

Mirrors and chandys, love them!! Just an idea but I think a large wool floral rug would look really pretty on the bsre cement floors, in front of the sofa. Maybe you have already.I'm still at March 2010 ha!
I'm the one that sent you an email yesterday about how much I love your blog. It was from my other AOL account.
Love your house, your pictures are breathless!
