Gold Coast Australia - My name is Sandy and I have a passion for upcycling old furniture. I am a collector a treasure hunter and see the beauty in what pieces can be rather than what they currently are. I love beautiful things shabby, rustic, beachy, french and anything that is recycled. I hardly ever buy new and with some paint and imagination I transform time worn pieces. You can check out my furniture at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre in Brisbane. Drop me a comment I would love to hear from you.
Managed to finish off a few pieces over the weekend. If you scroll down you can see the before picture of this mirror in a previous post.
Can't even remember where I got this mirror from but it looks so much better white, just have to find a spot for it now. Notice that nice basket chandy hanging in the background thats going in my bathroom one of these days.
Wow Sandy, you certainly had a busy weekend! Everything looks wonderful, your mirrors are just gorgeous! I'm loving the basket chandy in the background there and I bet you can't wait to get that beauty up in your bathroom!! Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday ~ Tina x
Love those mirrors and the cute pedestal table...so much better white! I just found a matching set of pedestal tables with carved legs...will be painting them too! Great job! It is all beautiful!
Wow, you have been busy, everything looks gorgeous as usual, love that fancy mirror, it's to die for. I agree with Mel's comment, I would love to see how you do it all, you must be running on far better batteries than me. I feel like the 'other' little bunny in the Eveready add.
Hi Sandy, Wow they look so great! Particularly the cheval mirror. Ohh if only we lived closer to each other what fun we could have, hope you are having a lovely, productive day (as you can tell I am being a bit slack haha) cheers Katherine
Ainsley Pavey featured Paint Me White in the Courier Mail on Saturday 7th May. The Top 5 Latest Interior Design Styles. I was interviewed about my shabby chic painting style and where it was headed and how this style of decorating has stood the test of time.

I think white paint makes everything look better. Your pieces were lovely before, but the white really makes them look beautiful!
