A Cool Change

Hello cool change – with all the hot weather we have been having lately its nice to see some rain and the temperature a tad cooler. Got up early today and did some re-arranging in the lounge room. Still loving my white floors and yes so far they are easy to maintain – even ran the steam mop over them which was a breeze. I am having market and thrifting withdrawals and cannot wait to get out and find some goodies. For now its back to washing school uniforms and making sure the pantry is stocked for school lunches. Hope your children all had a great week back at school. The traffic here on the Gold Coast was a nightmare so I think the school bus is looking good. Have a great weekend. Sandy x

Sandy, Could you send some rain down here as it as dry as a chip and note one flower in the garden. Think the lounge room is looking amazing and all your beachy things go so well with your shabby chic curtains. My three all go back on Tuesday, so book covering and naming uniforms today. I can understand the market withdrawals, but I must keep on my declutter mission! Petah xo

Oh Sandy your floors look so cool to live on! Yes our school traffic was a nightmare too. We live about 2km from our school and it is taking 1 hour to do the pickup and get out of there! Lets hope it all calms down! A-M xx

Love the floors. I have an absolute aversion to carpets, don't mind rugs, I think furniture looks more stable on a hard floor and carpet seems to break up the flow of a room somehow. Perhaps its the heat here that makes me feel that way. I really love the painted cement thank you
