This is not my kitchen but hoping to achieve a look similiar to this one. If you like the layout of your existing kitchen then why pay thousands of dollars for a new one when a coat of paint can make all the difference. I have done my research and will attempt to paint our kitchen or at least make a start on it this weekend. Now my kitchen is laminate and the existing laminate is starting to come off. So I am going to remove all the laminate - well thats the plan anyway. Wish me luck and I will make sure that I take plenty of pictures and will let you know the products I am using if successful.

About the kitchen, have you considered only buying new doors? A friend of mine liked the layout, but hated her fake wood 70's style doors. So she had new ones made for a fraction of the cost. It looks awesome now!

Hi
I just found your blog and wanted to tell you how inspiring you are. Really, you are very talented.. It is such a great idea to paint existing cabinets. I wanted to show you my kitchen remodel. I never want to see old oak cabinets again. lol I love my new kitchen, we didn't spend much to do this. Although, the granite and sink, faucet was out splurge.
