Vintage Lamps

Hope your all having a lovely weekend. I was going through some old photos today and found some of these lamps that I had re-covered. Like everything I guess you get better at something the more you do it. Getting the tension right is probably the hardest thing but I do love seeing the completed lamp. I think at one stage my mother counted about 35 lamps just in my down stairs area. Have sold many off buts still have boxes and boxes of shades that I will get to one day.

    Hi Sandy,
Well aren't you a clever lady! They are gorgeous and you do such a good job. I have tried in the past to cover a lampshade and failed miserably. My husband agrees that they would be easier to store than chairs and couches (21 at last count, including 2 x 2 seaters that I won on ebay last night for $25 total! I'm so excited, my husband is not, lol)
