Wardrobe Make-over in A Weekend

This is the wardrobe I got on Friday. I could not wait to get stuck into this as I just knew this would come up nice. I saw a wardrobe on ebay recently with the blue panels so I decided to do the same. Turned out very beachy and will be lovely used as a linen press, pantry or even in the kids room filled with toys. I used a vintage blue/white wallpaper to line the inside shelves which I picked up for a bargain $2 for the whole roll.

What a spectacular transformation. Wow, you certainly have a gift for renovating beautiful furniture. Thanks for your kind words over at my place. I had a lovely day but I did end up cooking dinner! .... didn't have to wash up though... small saving grace! A-M xx

Your makeovers turned out beautiful, love the side board, too. I like to paint old furniture. The finished product is always so rewarding! Madeline

Dear Sandy,

I'm trying to fix up and 'prettify' a very plain old cupboard myself but can't find any shops that sell embellishments like the ribbons/wreaths/scrolls you've attached to your cupboard doors. Can you suggest where I could buy some? I live in Adelaide.

Thanks for your inspiring blog!

Cathie.
